Haztech Consultants Limited is an independent consultancy specialising in the assessment and management of risk, by means of cost effective solutions.

Haztech’s objectives are to provide a solutions based approach to the management of a clients risks. We achieve this by understanding a client's business and its associated hazards and then providing cost effective risk reduction and management strategies and solutions. This may include a combination of:

• eliminating the hazard
• preventing the occurrence
• reducing the frequency with which a potential incident can occur
• mitigating the consequences if it should occur.

The Eden Project

Our core business and technical competencies stem from extensive company operating experience and the fact that our consultants have either been involved in the development of many of the risk assessment techniques used in the chemical, pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries or have been involved in a regulatory role.

These methods have been further developed and formally applied by Haztech to diverse industrial sectors and projects such as oil and gas, food and drink production, major office complexes, research laboratories, chemical, pharmaceutical, transport and unique developments such the Eden Project.

Haztech have been extensively involved in the production of COMAH pre-construction reports for numerous new natural gas cavern storage projects and the development of depleted field gas storage. This has included hazard analysis and risk assessment, COMAH pre-construction safety reports and the provision of expert witnesses at public enquiry.
