Integrated Pollution Prevension Control

The IPPC regulations 2000 are the UK enactment of The EC Directive 96/61. These regulations apply to new installations and prescribed industries previously regulated under the old system of IPC authorizations.

Sites require a permit to operate and have to make an application to the Environment Agency. Haztech has the experience and technical support to ensure your application is 'duly made'. We have experience of managing and completing applications for sites with over 100 release points with fixed and multipurpose plants with multiple 'complexities'. We can provide support from a management overview to check the approach of a company to a complete application service.

Stages and services we provide depend on a client's need and experience but may include:

  • IPPC Gap Analysis to determine what is needed for a 'duly made' application on a specific client site.
  • Liaison with EA on a clients behalf
  • Development of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) ISO 14001
  • Application drafting of Site Report and H1 assessment
  • Dispersion Modeling
  • Site Condition Reports - Desktop, Phase I
  • Noise Measurement, Modeling and boundary surveys.
